Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Silver Cohort. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Service description
Silver Cohort provides fellowship program management services for Handshake placements on behalf of registered student clients. The scope of work is defined in the Management Agreement signed during onboarding.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, enrolled at an accredited college or university, and have legal authority to authorize third-party management of the Handshake accounts you connect. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for: (a) providing accurate account credentials; (b) ensuring your fellowship placement complies with Handshake and university policies; (c) reviewing and approving the scope of work before submission; and (d) notifying us immediately if any platform access is revoked or any security incident occurs.
4. Fees & revenue share
Silver Cohort operates on a disclosed revenue-share model. You receive a guaranteed percentage of monthly fellowship revenue as outlined in your Management Agreement. There are no upfront fees. Revenue-share terms cannot be changed retroactively without mutual written consent.
5. Payout schedule
Payouts are processed on a fixed date each calendar month for the prior month's fellowship revenue. Silver Cohort deducts its share before remitting your portion to your registered payment method. Disputes over payout calculations must be raised within 14 days of the payout date.
6. Intellectual property
All work product, resume content, and professional assets created through your fellowship placement remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over your student identity, program credentials, or career materials.
7. Limitation of liability
Silver Cohort is not liable for: (a) platform-initiated account suspensions or policy violations not directly caused by our team; (b) revenue loss due to external program changes, university policy updates, or platform outages outside our control; or (c) indirect or consequential damages.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time with no cancellation fee. Upon termination, we will permanently delete all stored credentials within 24 hours and provide a final performance report within 7 days.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration before resorting to litigation.
